If you don’t pay attention to the details, you will spend more time re-tying your belt than learning BJJ. While you need a lot more than a decent belt to get through your classes, getting one is still a step in the right direction.

Color Is Not A Matter Of Preference

BJJ has a strict ranking system. Wear only the color your instructor has awarded you. New students start at white.
